II Brazilian Congress on Biosafety and II Latin American Symposium on Transgenic Products

This event aims to discuss solutions for the main problems in the field of biosafety, the interrelations between bioethics and biosafety, the legal rights related to the human genome and the new stem-cell therapies, access to genetic resources in the country, the biosafety regulatory framework, and the ethical code for gene manipulation. Labeling of genetically modified foods and public perception of biotechnology will be among the subjects debated.
