6th International Symposium on the Biosafety of Genetically Modified Organisms

The Symposium addresses the scientific basis for biosafety (environmental as well as human and animal health issues) associated with genetically modified organisms. The information presented and discussion generated at this meeting will influence the development of a "science-based" regulatory policy governing the release of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). The Symposia series is designed for senior scientists, policy makers, regulators, environmentalists, and industry representatives involved in the commercial release of GMOs.
